South Africa Announce Squad for India T20Is; Suryakumar Yadav Returns for India
South Africa have named their squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against India, with fast bowler Kagiso Rabada and all-rounder Marco Jansen returning to the side.
Rabada missed the recent ODI series against England due to an ankle injury, while Jansen was rested for the third and final ODI.
The Proteas have also included some new faces in the squad, with uncapped duo Tristan Stubbs and Gerald Coetzee both earning call-ups.
Stubs is a hard-hitting batter who has impressed for the Lions in the CSA T20 Challenge, while Coetzee is a fast bowler who has played for the Titans in the same competition.
India, meanwhile, have recalled Suryakumar Yadav to their squad after the batter missed the recent T20I series against Sri Lanka due to injury.
Yadav is one of India's most in-form batters in T20 cricket, and his return will be a boost for the team.
India will be looking to avenge their 2-1 defeat to South Africa in the ODI series, and they will be confident of doing so with a strong squad at their disposal.
The first T20I between South Africa and India will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on June 9.
The second and third T20Is will be played at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack on June 12 and 14 respectively.
India will also play two warm-up matches against Leicestershire on June 10 and 11 before the start of the T20I series.
