The Nittany Lions came out victorious in a tight game against the Falcons, winning 27-24.

The game was tied 24-24 with just over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford connected with wide receiver KeAndre Lambert-Smith for a 29-yard touchdown pass to give the Nittany Lions the lead.

The Falcons had a chance to tie the game with a field goal as time expired, but the kick was blocked by Penn State defensive end Chop Robinson.

The win was Penn State's second of the season, while Bowling Green fell to 0-2.

Clifford threw for 282 yards and three touchdowns, while Lambert-Smith had six receptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns.

Penn State will host Ohio next Saturday, while Bowling Green will host South Alabama.
