Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second One-Day International (ODI) against Australia at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Thursday.
The hosts made one change to their playing XI, bringing in fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain to replace Haris Rauf, who was ruled out due to an injury.
Australia, on the other hand, retained the same team that played in the first ODI, which they lost by 88 runs.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam said at the toss that the wicket was looking good for batting and he wanted to put pressure on the Australian batsmen by bowling first.
Australia captain Pat Cummins said he was happy to bat first and was confident that his team could level the series.
The second ODI is crucial for both teams, as Pakistan will be looking to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, while Australia will be aiming to stay alive in the contest.
