Pakistan Cancels Bilateral Cricket Series With India After Asia Cup Final

Pakistan's cricket board announced on Thursday that it would no longer participate in the upcoming bilateral cricket series with India after the Asia Cup final.

The decision comes after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) accused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) of not honoring a commitment to play a series in Pakistan next year.

The PCB said in a statement that it had "no choice but to withdraw from the upcoming bilateral series with India" after the BCCI "failed to confirm their participation in the series despite repeated reminders and requests."

The PCB also said that it was "extremely disappointed" with the BCCI's decision, which it said was a "clear violation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two boards in 2014."

The BCCI has not yet commented on the PCB's decision.

The two boards have a long history of strained relations, and the cancellation of the series is likely to further damage those relations.

The series was scheduled to be played in the United Arab Emirates in December and January.

It would have been the first bilateral series between the two countries since 2012.

The cancellation of the series is a blow to cricket fans in both countries.

It is also a setback for the International Cricket Council (ICC), which has been trying to improve relations between the two boards.

The ICC said in a statement that it was "disappointed" by the PCB's decision.

The statement said that the ICC "understands the PCB's frustration, but we urge both boards to work together to find a solution."

The ICC said it would "continue to work with both boards to try to resolve the issue."
