Nitin's close friend and actor Rakesh Paul confirmed the tragic news to ETimes TV, revealing that the actor had suffered a heart attack. "Yes, Nitin Chauhaan is no more with us. He suffered from a heart attack this morning. I am completely shocked right now," Rakesh said.

Expressing his grief, Rakesh further revealed that Nitin had been suffering from depression for the last couple of years. The actor had been in financial distress and had even sold his house in Delhi recently.

"Nitin was in depression for the last two years because he was not getting work. He had even sold his house in Delhi. He was going through a lot of financial problems," Rakesh added.

Nitin Chauhaan began his career as a model before transitioning into acting. He made his television debut in 2004 with 'Sarabhai vs Sarabhai' and later gained recognition for his role in 'Tera Yaar Hoon Main' opposite Rajeev Khandelwal and Priyanka Chopra.
