Maruti To Continue Selling Third-Generation Dzire As Tour S
Maruti Suzuki's compact sedan, the Dzire, has been a mainstay in the Indian car market for over a decade, and the third-generation model has been on sale since 2017. Now, Maruti is set to continue selling the third-generation Dzire as the Tour S, a more affordable and fleet-focused variant.
The Dzire Tour S will be powered by the same 1.2-liter petrol engine and 1.3-liter diesel engine as the regular Dzire. However, the Tour S will be available in a more basic trim level, with features such as alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, and a touchscreen infotainment system being omitted. This will help to keep the price of the Tour S down, making it more attractive to fleet operators and budget-minded buyers.
Despite being a more basic variant, the Dzire Tour S will still offer a number of features that are essential for fleet use. These include a spacious cabin, a large boot, and a comfortable ride quality. The Dzire Tour S will also be backed by Maruti's extensive service network, which will provide peace of mind to fleet operators and individual buyers alike.
The Dzire Tour S is expected to be launched in India in the coming months, and it will likely be priced around Rs 5 lakh to Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the Dzire Tour S will compete with other fleet-focused sedans such as the Tata Tigor Fleet and the Hyundai Aura Prime.
