Maruti Suzuki Dzire Gets a Facelift, Unveiled in India
New Look, Enhanced Features
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the facelift of its popular subcompact sedan, the Dzire, in India. The updated model boasts a refreshed design, an enhanced feature list, and improved safety.
Exterior Updates
The new Dzire features a redesigned front grille with a more prominent chrome insert. The headlights have been updated with LED projector units, and the fog lamps have been integrated into the bumper.
Along the sides, the Dzire gets new alloy wheels and body-colored door handles. The rear end receives a revised bumper and taillights.
Interior Upgrades
Inside, the Dzire gets a new dashboard layout with a floating touchscreen infotainment system. The instrument cluster has been updated with a new design, and the steering wheel now features audio controls.
Other interior updates include a new fabric upholstery, a rear armrest with cup holders, and an automatic climate control system.
Safety Features
The new Dzire comes with a host of safety features, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, seatbelt reminders, and a speed warning system. It has also been equipped with ISOFIX child seat anchors.
Engine Options
The new Dzire is powered by the same engine options as before - a 1.2-liter petrol and a 1.3-liter diesel. The petrol engine produces 89bhp and 113Nm of torque, while the diesel engine produces 74bhp and 190Nm of torque.
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT (automated manual transmission).
Price and Availability
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is expected to go on sale in India in February 2023. Prices are likely to start from around Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom).
