Road Closures and Evacuations

Roads within a 1,000-foot radius of the Capital One Tower in Lake Charles will be closed for the duration of the implosion, which is scheduled for 7 a.m. on October 22. This includes: - Ryan Street from Sallier Street to Lakeshore Drive - Lakeshore Drive from Broad Street to Ryan Street - Broad Street from Sallier Street to Lakeshore Drive All businesses and residents within the 1,000-foot radius have been evacuated and will not be allowed to return until after the implosion and the area has been deemed safe.
