The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to host the remaining matches of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament was suspended in May due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India.
Why is the IPL being moved to the UAE?
The BCCI has decided to move the IPL to the UAE due to the following reasons:
