IHK supports the “Frankfurt Declaration”
Chamber President Stephan Schwarz: “A clear commitment to a strong Europe”

The Frankfurt Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) supports the goals set out in the “Frankfurt Declaration”. According to IHK President Stephan Schwarz, the declaration is “a clear commitment to a strong Europe that speaks with one voice in the world.”
The “Frankfurt Declaration” was adopted at the European Business Summit on May 2 in Frankfurt. The declaration calls for a stronger European Union that is more competitive, innovative, and sustainable. It also calls for a more united Europe that speaks with one voice on the global stage.
The IHK Full Assembly unanimously passed a resolution supporting the “Frankfurt Declaration” at its meeting on Wednesday. In the resolution, the IHK calls on the German government to work towards the goals set out in the declaration.
“The ‘Frankfurt Declaration’ is an important step towards a stronger Europe,” said Schwarz. “The IHK supports the goals set out in the declaration, and we call on the German government to work towards their achievement.”
