Chelsea close in on Eriksson after Feyenoord reveal 'good offer'

Chelsea Women are closing in on the signing of Swedish forward Johanna Rytting Kaneryd from Swedish Damallsvenskan club BK Häcken, according to multiple reports.

The Blues have been heavily linked with a move for the 25-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in 18 appearances for Häcken this season.

And now, Feyenoord manager Sonia Bompastor has revealed that Chelsea have made a "good offer" for Kaneryd, and that the player is now considering her options.

"Chelsea have made a good offer for Johanna," Bompastor said. "We have given her time to think about it and she will make a decision in the next few days."

Kaneryd is a versatile forward who can play anywhere across the front three. She is a good finisher, and she is also good at creating chances for her teammates.

She would be a valuable addition to the Chelsea squad, and she would help them to challenge for the Women's Super League title next season.

Chelsea are not the only club interested in signing Kaneryd. Arsenal and Manchester City have also been linked with a move for the player.
