With Labor Day weekend behind us, it's time to get back into the swing of things. And what better way to do that than to check out some of the great events happening in the Greater Houston area this weekend? From art festivals to live music and sporting events, there's something for everyone.

Here are 11 events to check out this weekend:

1. Houston Art Car Parade: This annual parade features over 250 art cars, all created by local artists. The parade starts at 2pm on Saturday, September 7th, and winds its way through downtown Houston.
